Dr. Phillip Strickland received his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from the University of Georgia in 2007. He went on to attended the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) in 2011. After dental school, Dr. Strickland received a certificate in Pediatric dentistry after completing a two year residency. During residency, Dr. Strickland specialized in oral health care for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special health care needs. Dr. Strickland was able to provide care for children in a variety of settings, including the operating room at the MCG Children’s Medical Center, Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital, and Egleston Children’s Hospital in Atlanta.
Dr. Strickland is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Strickland enjoys traveling, playing tennis, and watching UGA football. Dr. Strickland is also an Eagle Scout and enjoys being outdoors when he can find the time.
